Appleton and Company, 1869, Map of Yellowstone National Park. Uncolored, about 6 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. A woodcut map that was originally part of an illustration in "Picturesque America". We proudly offer it as it represents the park very shortly after it was opened. Shows mountains and their summits, both naming them and providing the heights, rivers, location of geysers, hot springs, mountain passes, lakes, falls, gulches and other topography. $40
George Cram, c.1884-1899, Wyoming. Printed color by county, about 9 1/2 by 12 inches. A detailed map depicting landforms, counties, rail road lines, cities and towns. Shows Yellowstone Park and Wind River Indian Reservation. Family atlases by Cram were very popular with the American family in the late 1800's. Different editions of the identical map have a slightly different colors. Later editions are fully colored. $30

A wonderful map of the park showing the continental divide, the road to the park, rivers, location of geysers, hot springs, mountain passes, lakes, falls, gulches and other topography. and naming all the features of the park. Rand McNally, c.1900, Wyoming. Printed color by county, about 12
1/2 by 9 1/4 inches. A detailed map depicting landforms, counties, rail road lines, cities
and towns. Also includes a table (not shown in the picture) on the left and right of the
map of land area, counties and chief cities. The extensive rail system evidences its
importance. The technology used in developing this map was so advanced that it made
all similar maps obsolete. $25

Matthew Northrup's Century Atlas, c. 1897-1911, Idaho and Wyoming. Includes a large inset of Yellowstone National Park. Printed color, with the county boundaries highlighted. About 10 1/2 by 15 inches. A very fine "modern" looking map with a "piano key" border. The map depicts landforms, including contours showing elevations above sea level. Includes counties, rail lines, roads, cities and towns. These are superb maps for accuracy and detail. A map of choice for many collectors. $45
Dodd Meade and Company, c. 1903, Wyoming. Printed color, about 8 1/4 by 10 1/4 inches. A very "modern" looking map with excellent detail. The map depicts landforms and includes counties, rail lines, cities and towns. $15
