An important bright and handsomely colored county map showing rail lines, roads, cities and towns. Cram's atlases were very popular with Americans in the late 1800's. Rand McNally, c. 1899 , West Virginia. Printed color by county, about 12 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches. A detailed map depicting landforms, counties, rail road lines, cities and towns. Also includes a table on the left and right of the map, of land area, counties and chief cities. The technology used to develop this map was so advanced that all similar maps were made obsolete. The extensive rail system evidences its importance. No roads are yet apparent. $25

The map depicts landforms, including contours showing elevations above sea level. Includes counties, rail lines, roads, cities and towns.
