Rigobert Bonne,1780, La Guyane Francoise, avec partie de la Guyane Hollandaise. Un colored, about 12 1/2 by 8 1/4 inches. A detailed early map of French and part of Dutch Guyana. Showing early cities, towns, landforms. Strongly engraved and handsome. $75
John Tallis, 1851, British Guyana. Outline color, about 13 1/2 by 10 inches. A very fine rendition providing a wealth of historical information. Very attractively laid out. Tallis maps are some of the best known and one of the most desirable of maps. This is due to the very decorative borders, vignette views, and the fact that these maps were one of the last that were engraved on steel. This map is no exception and includes five vignette views. Handsome with good detail of cities, towns and landforms. $150
