Abraham Ortelius, c.1574, Europae. Expressive later color, about
12 by 18 1/4 inches. This is a classic map of Europe. The map is in excellent
condition and will be outstanding when framed. There were an estimated
4275 copies printed of which only 58 are in circulation today. $3,500
Abraham Ortelius, c. 1584, Romani Imperii Imago. Very handsomely colored, about 13 1/2 by 19 1/2 inches. A classic map of the ancient Roman Empire with excellent detail. One of the most decorative maps he published in his world atlas. Includes six decorative strap work cartouches and a stippled sea. Ortelius is recognized as a genius in the field of cartography and this map reflects his ability. About 2675 were printed of which it is estimated that only about 200 to 300 survive. $2500

Abraham Ortelius, 1624, Europani
Celticam Veterem. Old original color, about 14 by 18 3/4 inches. A classic map of
the ancient Celtic Empire with excellent detail. This is a very rare
map. Less than 60 exist. This will be a real treasure when framed. Please
note that the glare on the image is due to the protective plastic cover over the

Abraham Ortelius, c.1612, Argonautica.
Expressive later color, about 13 1/2 by 19 1/2 inches. This is a classic map of
the ancient Argonautic Empire. The map beautifully details the
Eastern Mediterranean region and includes insets of Thessalia, Marmora and
Europe. When the map was originally printed there were 2650 copies, today there
are less than 55 available. Please

Abraham Ortelius, c.1624, Aenaeae
Troiani Navigatio. Original bright color, about 13 1/4 by
19 1/2 inches. This is a wonderful map of the Eastern Mediterranean. Originally
there were 3400 printed, today there are less than 40. This is a very rare map
that will be outstanding when framed. $1,200

Caroli Magini Occidentis Imperatorus. Outline color, about 18 3/4 by 21 inches. A handsome map of one of Europe's great
ancient empires. Provides excellent information about cities, towns, rivers and mountains.
The map is of particular interest to those with an interest in history. It includes a
large decorative title cartouche and a set of scales. A wonderful map in original
condition for the serious collector and decorator. $200
